Dr. Martin and team are simply the best. My total hip replacement with the skill of Dr. Martin along with his office and hospital team went flawlessly. The results are nothing short of a miracle as I am back to full strength golfing and enjoying all of my regular activities. Prefect went in on Dec. 3rd knowing I would need a total hip got it done on Dec. 22 everything went great Dr. Martin was great but the real star is the nurse practitioner Jeanette. I had a rough time coming out of the surgery and was just confused then I felt someone touching my foot and I looked up and it was Jeanette she calmed me down and after that I was good and was only in recovery for 30 minutes. Dr. Martin was absolutely incredible. If you are thinking of getting hip replacement with him and the Maki robot, DO IT NOW!! I literally walked out of the hospital 4 hours later. FOUR!! Gave me my life back. Well no more soccer, but walking, hiking swimming, all of it are back now because of Dr. Martin and the robot. So incredible I do not have words to describe......well maybe one! I needed a hip replacement, did a lot of research, decided that Makoplasty was what I wanted, and Dr. Martin seemed to be the best in the Phoenix area for that. However, he had 'opted out' of Medicare, which meant I had to pay his fee up front CASH, $6500. Seemed worth it. Reviews were stellar, and patients I talked to thought he was miraculous. 3 weeks after my surgery, the physical therapist insisted on my putting all my weight on the repaired hip, and that is when it apparently came loose. Today (November 9, 2020) is the two year anniversary of when you did my right total hip replacement. I wanted to bring you up to date on my progress. I have been a serious cyclist for 50 years. This morning I bicycled 51.8 miles. I am 66 years old now, and, as of today, I have bicycled 7,059.97 miles in the two years since my operation. This includes 123,780.8 feet of vertical ascent. Dr. Shane Martin is the Man. Period. I’m a 54 year old ex athlete weighing 360 lbs.. My right knee went bone on bone 2 years ago . I had a Partial Knee Replacement last week. I had my 1 week follow up today and we are so pleased with my recovery. I am walking, walking on the elliptical, doing all my prescribed excercises. The goal is to be back to walking the canal 2 miles, a couple times a day. I had a Makoplasty partial knee replacement performed by Dr. Shane Martin. My experience was great. Office & surgery personal we’re very professional & pleasant throughout my care. Dr. Martin was informative & answered all of my questions plus surgery was much easier than I expected. I would highly recommend him anytime!!
Excellent care from everyone involved in this practice. Treated with kindness and respect and all procedures were carefully explained to me. Dr. Martin truly cares about his patients as do his amazing staff.
