I had total hip replacement surgery from Dr Martin. The whole process was very well organized, from the first phone call to make the appointment a person answered the phone no automated answering, to the consultation. Dr Martin was very informative and got me scheduled quickly. The day of surgery went great, I was up and walking an hour and a half post op. TKR 3 mos post op: The outcome of this surgery is, more than others, dependent on the surgeon’s experience/skill, and the patient’s commitment to PT. Outstanding, no other words, describe my experience with Scottsdale joint replacement center. They are prompt, professional, and polite to the extreme. Dr. Martin is an outstanding surgeon his nurse practitioner Jeanette is an amazing professional, and an even more amazing person. They treated me like family. I walked in with a right hip that was bone on bone and limping everywhere I went and getting woke up at night from the pain. After surgery I walked out with none of the old pain and no limp. Dr. Martin did a total hip replacement on me 4.5 years ago. I recently had some leg pain. I saw 3 spinal orthopedic specialists who all said it had nothing to do with my spine. One suggested that it may be a problem with my hip implant. Dr. Martin did a thorough exam and reviewed my imaging. He deduced that I had a pinched nerve in my spine and my implant was OK.
