The Admissions and Nursing Staff are great! The hospital is very clean and modern! Doctors should return calls from patients personally within 2 weeks after a surgery. This is a nasty habit and I'm against this general policy that has made them unapproachable except by making another office visit...

I am not one who enjoys having to go to the doctor. But, when my appendix decided to act up, I had no choice. From the instant I walked in to the ER, from the time I walked out of the hospital, every one of the Great Plains staff I had contact with were beyond professional, kind and caring. Everything was explained to me thoroughly. I was VERY impressed with everything, and I couldn't have asked for better care. Crack heads working there. Openly bragging about stealing pills. Replacing them with aspirin when it's time to "destroy" the ones that weren't passed.
I cannot believe that this hospital hasn't been sued by now. But you rarely will see a doctor go against another doctor. Right or wrong they rarely stand up!
First off. I'm from the South. And southern hospitality is lost. The folks in the mid West are friendly. Hospitable. I was passing thru for work. Had to take a detour to the hospital. The Dr and nurses were awesome. Even the security. ( Critters in car ) in and out. Thanks y'all. I might change my mind when I get the bill...lol JK.
