It's not worth getting into here but when they reschedule your appointment repeatedly and consecutively, tends to cause a bitter taste.
RecommendedDr. Seward is the best. Cataract removed, vision restored. Pre-op Rachael’s were informative and efficient. Surgical Assistant Toby was very efficient.

RecommendedEveryone we've encountered at Great Lakes has been absolutely amazing! We've been bringing our son in for about 4 year, he's now 7! Dr. Tolsma is amazing with our son! He's very detailed and makes sure we completely understand before we leave! We also seen Dr. Pletcher and he did surgery on our son's eyes to bring the eyes back to where they needed to be( left eye went out to the left severely)! Booth are absolutely amazing as well as their staff in the office to! Thank you Great Lakes Eye Care!
RecommendedMy husband had his first cataract surgery today in lesd than one hour. Thank you Dr Brown for taking care of his eye. Hopefully he will be back in first the 2nd eye before month end. Then it will be my turn.
We have been long time patients. A family of 5. we recently got vision insurance through my husbands employer (BC/BS) and Great Lakes refused to work with it... they lost an entire family of business over this. I am shocked that a business would rather lose business then submit an insurance claim. But I guess not everyone wants to work for their customers. (They would bill the SAME insurance under medical.. but that would cost us $50 out of pocket instead of $0 on the vision side)
This company does not stand behind their product, even when it's defective. Very disappointed in my dealings with them.
we had an appointment today weren't trying to get glasses or anything just needed to see doc for diabetes our appointment lasted three hours mainly all waiting time we even arrived 5 mins before we're not late and the were multiple people called back in front of us I don't know how it's possible to be so behind at 9am this is just ridiculous.
Great Lakes Eyecare is absolutely the best. All the staff are very helpful and happy. Dr. Michael Seward is our doctor/ surgeon. He has done two cataract surgeries on both my husband and myself. I had my second eye operated on yesterday at their surgical center. Their new surgical center is amazing. So efficient and the staff is very caring and make you feel so comfortable.
