To be clear on my original review-- I prepaid for an entire year of service in order to get a 5% discount. I did receive a small partial refund on treatments not yet done, but I did NOT get any money back for treatments already made to my lawn.

I was told about their annual auto- renewal contract only after 1st treatment when I got an invoice. 1st treatment- dead bunny found in front yard-- switched to "organic program." 2nd treatment- worker left a pile of fertilizer spilled in the street in front of my house for me to clean up. 3rd treatment- fertilizer left all over my driveway, which had been sealed earlier in the summer. Very disappointed in this company. Signed up for a six treatment deluxe plan and an additional aeration and over seating as suggested by the representative. I pre-paid for these services, then got a phone call in July that their costs had gone up and it was going to be an additional $170 to have the aeration and over seating done. But what was worse is as of August 10 I’ve only had two of my six treatments done. The next one is considered early summer and I’m not sure what calendar they use but early summer to me is June. This company drives by and places a flag in your yard and applied no treatment and sends you a bill. I was once home and witnessed this happen. I never leave reviews but the community needs to know about their dishonesty. If you call their office, Crystal is very unprofessional and rude. I tried Politely cancelling my service and they showed up anyway even in the snow placing a flag in the snow and billing me still even AFTER I spoke to them numerous times cancelling my service. Used this company for years but my grass looks terrible after the last treatment. I was told that it was bad because of the drought , bad soil and wrong seed. I do understand the drought contributed but bad soil is beyond my understanding since everyone else’s lawn is fine with the same soil I have. I did reseed my lawn several years ago so I guess I didn’t ask what kind of seed they used. The company gave me poor service and I am unhappy with the response given me to rectify the problem.

We have happily used this company for years and we’re satisfied until they kept sending out someone who didn’t do a good job. This years first treatment didn’t work. Our yard was full of weeds from last year. So much so we had to kill crab and nut grass and redraft. We waited until the second treatment to talk to the service provider. All we asked for was call ahead with the ability to confirm treatment. The response was “we don’t need to have confirmation to treat, the call ahead is your notification”. They treated my moms yard 2x without her permission and billed for it! And then..... my moms yard is full of weeds! Bad customer service. And, the guy that comes to my moms house is rude to her too. Going with another service. They didn’t seem to mind we cancelled her account and mine! Must be rolling in money from unauthorized services.
