Fantastic down home southern cooking and wonderful service at very reasonable prices.
The food was great and our server Betty was awesome! I didn’t appreciate how our checker rudely called Betty out in front of us not adding my coffee on the ticket, I had already brought it to her attention. I’ve worked in retail for over 30 years and I know that matters should be discussed away from customers. I’ve visited this place several times over the years and I’ll be back!
We stopped in for lunch, I had eaten here last visit to hot springs but my husband had never been here. The iced tea was very good, we both had the special, red beans and rice and it was seasoned to perfection!! I had the fried squash, which was so good and everything possible to order I’m sure is equally good. We shared a fried coconut pie, best we’ve had in years!! Luckily we got one to go too!! Don’t miss this place across from bathhouse row!!!
We were on a road trip earlier this week, had looked at the menu outside, sounded great, but upon our entering the staff were so extremely rude and not at all welcoming. We would have most likely eaten here, however, when we entered, my husband (whom has asthma) can’t wear a mask, I had my covering on and the Waitresses were so rude and said no mask no entry, I told them my husband had asthma and can’t wear a mask and could they please just sit us. Delicious food and very hospitable staff!! I’ll be back for sure!
Really good food with great service. The biscuits were the closest recipe that I have found to my moms. If you go ask for Betty.
We had the cheeseburger and a double cheeseburger, they were huge!! And delicious!!
Pancakes are great. Also Razorback omelet.
