Thursday night we went to the restaurant around 6:30pm. It is "seat yourself", so we did just that. 15 minutes later we received menus and our drink order was taken. Ten minutes later, we got our drinks but our server did not take our food order. So we decided rather than dine-in, my husband and I would take our food to-go. We ate here for dinner twice during our stay at Grand Superior Lodge and our meals were delicious! I had the beef tenderloin on the first night and the pork tenderloin tonight. Both were fantastic and right up there with some of the best I've had. Veggies were fresh and the mashed potatoes were flavorful. I would rate this restaurant a 5 except the service is pretty slow and the servers are not all that friendly. Buffet was awful!!! Horrible service. Very disappointed. We will never go back.

Excellent food wonderful staff I had the walleye and my wife had the steak
Had a wonderful lunch with always the gorgeous view. Duck bites were great as an appetizer, I had the walleye sandwich which was equally great. My husband said the avocado bruschetta burger was the best burger he has ever had; and he has had a lot of burgers! Service was exceptional and we watched a photo op of couple before their nuptials; a proud marine and his beautiful bride!
Awesome food. But the service is bad. won't be back.
