Both of the members of our party that ate the all you can eat ribs got food poisoning. You might say the only thing we got out of our 80 dollar tab was the knowledge to never go back. What a shame great view of the lake and our server was amazing.

We really enjoyed dining outside with a phenomenal view of Lake Superior.
Our family stopped on our way to Gooseberry Falls; expecting higher prices; we were pleasantly surprised at the very reasonable price. The food was all very fresh and flavorful. We will be stopping again when we’re in the area!!!

I took my mom and friends here for Easter brunch and it was fantastic! Great selection of food, the service, and price were really good and you can't beat the view. My favorites were the salad with the blackberries and salmon, the prime rib and the trout bites. I also liked that you had sugar free dessert options.
We had breakfast here the last morning we were at the resort. It was HORRIBLE! NOT WORTH THE MONEY! I am happy we chose to eat elsewhere the previous days!! ....Friendly staff however.
Wow. Black Woods was closed for a benefit so begrudgingly gave this restaurant a try... It was by far THE BEST food we've ever eaten. Anywhere. What a shame it's so far from the cities, I'd only ever eat out at this restaurant. Will be going back for dinner again tomorrow.
