My son became a patient with them approximately 10 years ago. The staff has been kind and we had a good relationship with the NP which I value. We followed multiple regimens with little progress. Each new plan was billed as “just a couple years and it will pay off; he will get better.” Expectations were set inaccurately to say the least. I don’t blame them for my son’s lack of progress but I didn’t appreciate the false hope and the misdirection. Now, a decade later, we’re giving up hope. Also, we refilled our injection vial ... read more
I've been a patient since 2011. Professionalism, Patience
My 3 year old son has been through two allergy testings, and is currently getting his allergy injections weekly. Every time we go, it’s a wonderful experience. Especially the changes they’ve had to make to accommodate their patients during Covid-19. Their system makes it safe for me to bring my little guy there to get his injections, and we are so grateful!
I’ve been a patient at GR Allergy for 10 years. My children went there for allergy injections as well. Staff is professional, courteous, caring and just all around wonderful. Injections run like clock work and can’t imagine going elsewhere. Thank you all at GR Allergy for your efficiency in handling my care
Grand Rapids Allergy changed my son’s life. He was around 5 when we started going. He had been on every allergy med, nasal spray as well as meds for asthma. Constantly feeling terrible and would often end up with bronchitis or pneumonia. After 6 months, he no longer needed to take any of the allergy or asthma meds every day. He turned into a new kiddo and became very outgoing and was your typical boy finally! It’s been 4 years now and he’s only needed his Allergy/asthma meds a few times when the pollen and such were absolute... read more
Wonderful people!! Would highly recommend.
The staff was so helpful and accommodating -- I made a mistake and forgot to bring something REALLY important, and they made it possible to still complete the appointment safely, much to my relief!! Dr. Schafer has the best bedside manner and really made it feel like she had time to answer any questions we had. I appreciate that so much!
Wouldn’t recommend Grand Rapids Allergy to any one. Especially for their allergy shots. I’ve never had such bad experience with a doctors office before.
they are very friendly. and they try their best to get people in when they need to be seen. they take time to talk to their patient and answer their questions
