I was very happy to see that Thompson’s has Fish and Chips. We normally go to our home pub of Boon’s but really wanted Fish and Chips. Used the app to discover this on the menu at Thompson’s. My review is for Kyle our waiter. He was fabulous! Attentive, humorous without insulting and very knowledgable. I had a great experience thanks to him! Give the man a stamp! Or at least give him some Kudos for being an outstanding McMenamins worker.
Food was awful. Absolutely no flavor. Took 20 minutes to get a beverage. Serve was really nice and clearly had too many tables to take care of.

My husband and I were there Saturday night for a date night. I feel terrible for not getting this lady’s name - but she was a rockstar behind the bar!! She made our night and the atmosphere so fun! Food is great. Can’t recommend their turkey sandwich enough!
McMenamins are always comfortable and the food is first rate. We stopped in to the Rams Head the other night for a quick beer and dessert. The wait staff was pleasant and appropriately attentive. The beer was good (IPAs pair well with most desserts in our humble opinions) and the dessert, a passionfruit custard on shortcake with strawberries and whipped cream, was excellent.
