The rooms are small but quite nice. Beds very comfy and sheets and towels are nice. Long NYC weekend with my daughter. Django Jazz in basement is hidden gem. Wonderful Saturday evening from 9:30 to 12. Front desk staff quite nice. Breakfast today: ordered Black Forest Ham Omelette today and received "wilted" greens instead of herbed potatoes. Love this place very much
Bar and lounge is perfect for an evening out! Raw bar and great drinks. Matched with amazing music- Akiko Tsugura is amazing on the jazz organ
The Roxy Hotel is by far the neatest hotel I've ever stayed in!!! Everything about it, from the decor, the ambience, the cleanliness, the entertainment, not to mention the staff was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

I heard the jazz was fantastic so I went for drinks and dessert one saturday evening at 8:00. All of the tables were “reserved.” Hostess said she could not accommodate us. I asked if we could sit for 1/2 hour and she said, “no.” We stood and watched for about 45 minutes and when we left, the “reserved” tables were still empty. I’m sure if I handed her a $20 or dropped a name, a table would have miraculously opened up.
