We were there 10-1 for a wedding, very poor service when the wedding is at 4:30 and no one is allowed to check in until 4 or later. When I checked in I was told my card was charged when I made the reservation, when I checked out I was told it was not, had to pay then, ok but I had to come home and try to remember when I made the reservation and be sure I didn't get dinged twice. Then the bill was $237 but my card shows being billed $190 and $250. I had to call and they said the $250 was in case of essentials?? that didn't go... read more
My husband and I stayed there this past weekend for our first year anniversary. The rooms are not what we expected at all for the price we paid and a 4 diamond rating. There was a 2 inch gap at the connecting room door (the door that connects the two rooms). The first night the people staying in the other room woke us up because the room light was shining into our room and we could hear their whole conversation. My son and his fiance were married there in a outside wedding! Absolutely beautiful!
My mother made a reservation to have a weekend away and go swimming with my cousins. She called to make her reservation, which the receptionist requested she do it online. (What does it matter whether she puts it in online or the staff be courteous and place it on their computer). Whatever the point the reservation was placed by the staff on the right weekend in the wrong month. The Grand Geneva made my mom's birthday trip amazing!! From check-in to check-out, the staff, facilities, and amenities were top notch!! I will definitely be back again!!
