I guess overall this place is very elegant and very nice unfortunately we had a room that was supposedly a suite A Premier Suite that was quite expensive that had duct tape keeping the floors connected additionally if you did not get a microwave in a room that was a sweet you didn't get garbage bags in the garbage can which I thought was disgusting you had to search for the ice machine that was practically a block away and if you're traveling with children be aware that there are no elevators they're only in a very small por... read more
As a local, I love getting to Grand Geneva to dine at the restaurants and hang out in the great atmosphere. The live music on the weekends is always fun to enjoy! Good value right in our backyard.
I didn't realize nursing women didn't fit your "demographic" as an establishment! Perhaps your team should be educated in the laws of Wisconsin before embarrassing and chastising an innocent woman trying to feed her baby where she sees fit! Perhaps your manager would enjoy eating his/her lunch in the bathroom from now on? We will never return to this place and we've told everyone we know what happened here--they've all been disgusted as well. Really disappointed to hear about how a breastfeeding mother was treated while there.
A breastfeeding and nursing friend of mine was told she was not your demographic (by a manager no less!) and told to pump in the both room. I hope you understand the severity of this as: 1. That is illegal 2. This issue was brought before a moms group of a few thousand people 3. Your generic response is not satisfactory. Shame on you for making a nursing mom pump in the bathroom!! I will be telling everyone I know not to go to your establishment!
As a lactating mother, I now choose to NOT be your demographic or your paying customer. I will take my business elsewhere to respectable businesses that embrace and welcome mothers as will all of my family, friends, my moms' groups and anyone else I can talk to. The behavior and comments made to this woman were rude and shameful. I'm sure your "target demographic" wouldn't want their meal prepared in a bathroom anymore than this mom and baby. Educate your staff in customer service, breastfeeding laws and sensitivity.
