We had a grand time at Grand Geneva. Our room was perfectly situated in Building 4 - across the street from the spa, close to the outdoor pool and to the Chop House. I love that the staff would text me and ask how my stay was going. They were quick to rectify an oversight by the cleaning staff and made great amends. I also texted them to make my reservations at the Chop House and they did. When I went to the spa, I was not offered a robe - I had to ask for one. This maybe an area for improvement. I stayed here in 2012, granted I was smart enough then not to eat there. Fast forward to us 5 years later with 3 year old twins and my in-laws. We got there at 1pm and were told our room wasn't ready yet, but we would have top priority to check in early. Fine: so we ate at the casual sit down place next to the lobby. Sub-bar food but the worst part was that our server took a break and no one told us.
