My favorite catfish place. I've been eating here for years. I miss the peanuts on the floor and hats on the wall, but you can't beat the catfish.
Oh my! If you like light tasty catfish, this is your place. Hush puppies are delish, slaw is great, sautéed veggies are yummy, and hubs is crazy about the chicken. Go at least twice a month and always fresh and good! Make you slap yo' mama good!

Absolutely disappointed!!! First we get there right after they opened & we're seated at a dirty table! We ordered & my friend got her salad that was missing tomatoes, bacon bits, etc. My Coleslaw was tasteless & dry :( We told the waitress of missing ingredients & they were out! Walmart is right across the way, you could have the proper ingredients! We celebrated my daughter's 30th birthday at lunch here yesterday. She lives in Maumelle and I live 3 hours away! I figured it would be good but it actually exceeded my expectations! The best fish and shrimp I've had in a long time and the cole slaw is just how I like it. Everything was excellent including the service. We come to Maumelle often as I have a new baby grandson and will be sure to come back to Grampa's to eat. Oh my....I almost forgot....the BEST HAND BATTERED AND FRIED ONION RINGS!!!!!
