Good but not great I've always used gracelane kennels for my dogs when I'm on vacation. I've never had a time when I was unable to reserve a spot for my dogs. It's a reasonably clean kennel, but I'm never truly satisfied when I leave my dogs there. It's the best one that's close by in Ossining, but everytime I pick up my dogs, they've lost thier voices/bark. The last time I placed on of my dogs in there, she picked up kennel cough and it took months of medication for her to recover...granted she was 13 years old at the time.... read more
Gracelane Kennels is Great We have used Grace Lane every time we go on vacation and our Lab Ty has been very tired and happy when we have picked him up. One neg- no pick up on Sunday.
My dog's home away from home Gracelane is the oldest boarding kennel in the country, established in 1912.....they must be doing something right. And it's family-run. My dog Joe, a bearded collie, has been staying at Gracelane for several years now. We tell him he's going to camp and that's what it feels like.....an open area surrounded by forest. great kennel i highly recommend i recently moved to new york (westchester to be more exact) and asked my new vet where would be a good place to board my dog. he recommended grace lane kennel. i called them and they told me to come by for a tour. when i got there i was impressed on how clean everything was and how when i walked into the office there was a huge bulletin board showing all the celebrities that also bring their dogs there. i was very impressed that the dogs have so much room to run outside n they could see other ... read more
I've been boarding there for years Gracelane Kennels is a one of a kind setup. They are set on numerous acres of wooded property. I have two dogs (Aust Shep & Doberman) and I love how I'm able to board them together and they can go in and out as they please. They were able to keep my dogs on there daily vitamins while I was away for no extra cost.. Plus they have a groomer now who did a wonderful job on my Aust Shep.. Wonderful Kennel - Best We've used We've been using Gracelane for about ten years. With our older dogs, who've since passed on, and our new dog, all Boxers. And all I can say is all or dogs pulled/ pull to get in the door once we arrive. We live in Manhattan and drive up there, because of all the kennels we've found they are the best, the dogs are happy there. This from a cat lover!!!!! WHAT A FANTASTIC CAT ROOM. I found out about grace lane from my vet, and was i blown away when i saw the cat room. They said that it was brand new and they have these facilities called "Cat Condo's" it still makes me laugh, but boy were they nice. Each cat in these condos has a multi level room and a separate bed room which they put a blanket in.
