Awesome food service and the weather is getting right for the patio area!
The best place to eat in Bastrop. Great country meals at a fair price.
We had the chicken fried steak, baked potato, and black-eyed peas. INCREDIBLE! Had plenty to take home and it was still awesome the next day

Our party of 5 ate lunch during the market fair. The place was busy but all the wait staff were smiling and very friendly. The Rooster sandwich I had was delicious. Everybody loved their food and our waitress was excellent! The prices for the sandwiches were very reasonable. I will definitely come back here when I'm in Bastrop.
Ate here on 9/3/16. Very good dinner. I had chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, corn, and blackeyed peas. Neat atmosphere and the chicken fried was really tender. Good flavor.
