Having a sick child is terrifying it is wonderful having a place like this with their wonderful staff to easy your worries and your fears. I will gladly spread the word of how awesome this place is!
I thought they were fantastic. The receptionist who checked us in and the lady who worked in the lab at the front desk and the one who drew the blood. Big thanks to the front desk lady who said my daughter did not have to go to lab corp for a separate draw and that lab corp could bill it so my insurance would cover it. She totally sensed the fear in my heart in having to have blood drawn 2ce in a day. ����
I've admired this hospital but when my daughter ended up in PICU (intensive care) close to death it turned into pure love. The nurses in this unit were totally amazing, most of them set up station right outside the patients room and sat there during their whole shift, ate their meals there and jumped to any beep or movement my unconcience almost lifeless daughter made, comforting and talking to her like she was awake. I had been with Morristown Children's Hospital for Diabetes for my Daughter. As of today I had a nurse appointment Kristine Wagner and we were told that her and Dr. Cerami made a decision to transfer my daughter to a Adult diabetes doctor. I am very upset that the Doctor never called me to let me know that this was her decision and never calling me to tell me. Very upset about this and I was not happy today.
The entire staff at Goryeb Hospital is amazing! So caring, knowledgeable and they truly care about each little patient! We feel so incredibly lucky to have met so many great doctors, nurses and respiratory therapists for our sons short stay in the NICU! Thank you for all that you do!
I love our cardiologist there. But when my daughter was 3.5 months old had to be admitted she our hospital stay was the worst! The nurses were afraid to even handle my daughter and the dr told me there was nothing they could do for her except if things went south they would transport her. After he said that he told me she would be sent home after a few days of observation and being on oxygen. I insisted she be transferred to chop and thank god I did.
