I went to Pep Boys today on Cherry Road in Rock Hill South Carolina. Rose was my sales associate. She is the best every. I took my guy friend car there because be purchased a lemon from Family Auto Sales in Rock Hill SC.Rose was super professional, and knowledgeable! I was so happy that she was able to explain my auto diagnostic to me. Because of Rose and the excellent customer service I am recommending this pep boys to every. Thank you a million!!!! P. McIntosh

Bad past experience with service bay three years ago but faith restored in Pep Boys because of friendly professional young man named Rafael at the Foothill/Heilman store who took time to explain all i had to do to fix my ac problem on my truck. Pep Boys, you need to hire more employees like Rafael, perhaps the bad reviews will disappear.
Brought my 2000 Chevy 3500 crew cab dulley a year ago July for alignment, tire mount&balance, hydro boost & a/c service. He a/c work ended up being the entire system replacement. I get a call @ 8 or 8:30 one evening saying the work is finished. The caller then stated that I needed to come by before closing & pay so his mechanic would get paid that week. Had a car towed there by there tow truck on7/23 for a diagnostic test. They called to let us know what was wrong with it. My husband and I discussed and decided against them fixing it the next morning my husband went to pick up the car only to find it had been broken into and vandalised. No mod to talk to so we left the car there my husband called talk to the manager on Monday and after speaking with his boss told us they are not responsible for cars on their lot?????
I was pleasantly surprised by Steve snd John when I brought my problem to them. I had bought a step and had iit instslled on my Ford Escape but it was too flimsy to use. They refunded my money snd apologized for the inconvenience. Their kindness and understanding was refreshing! Thsnk you.so much.
Very very poor service. The mechanics are incompetent, and the management dishonest. Managers did not provide any of the written paperwork they promised, or keep their word on anything. My 2005 Ford Escape had a spark plug strip out by its threads. I had it towed to the Plank Road Pep Boys in Fredericksburg, VA for repair. The repair was a very simple one, and involved installing a "helicoil" which restores the spark plug threads. Don't bring them a clean car. This store has got to have the dirtiest crew ever. Mats and steering wheel were so nasty when we picked up car. Yeah they definitely charge for shop fee, had so much white grease on my new tires and wheels. Why they got to change radio stations i don't know. I guess they don't have a customer service training. Quoted a price at time of drop off of car and failed to mention he added in the mail in rebates. I stayed away for 5 years because of this same service. I spent thousands of dollars at this store car got a big door ding at this store, they told me my needed a alternator and there was nothing with the old one. Good luck with these people.
