Horrible Customer Service I was there awhile back to get one tire with my then 2 yr old son. It took them over 3 hours (after I went to find out the progress on the tire) that they didn't have a replacement in the size I needed. Mind you, the tire had not been touched from the time I brought it in to be looked at to the time I asked about it. They were not apologetic at all, and seemed put out when I asked if they could check other Pep Boys in the area. I will NEVER go there for anything again.

OK for minor, simple problems -- Tend to miss things when doing bigger repairs We keep going back there and they keep messing up. We have taken our truck there many times and, although they say all is well when they are done, we encounter problems and things they missed. They're friendly but I don't think they're very high tech mechanics. The prices range from reasonable to high and sometimes the wait for repair is long. Pep Boys I go to Pep Boys for all of my self maintenance auto parts. When I am going to fix the car myself I come here for the supplies. They have great reference guides to make it easy to determine what parts fit your vehicle. If you cant find it in the book just ask an employee they are great at helping you.
I purchased two tires from Pep Boys a few months ago for a decent price. They were installed quickly and seemingly with care. Unfortunately, one of the tires popped while I was on the freeway about a week after Pep Boys installed it. When I went back tothe store to get it replaced, they charged me for the replacement! I don't know if they put it on incorrectly or if the tire was defective, but I think they should have given me a new tire for free.
Service Pep Boys of Monrovia has good service.The service dept. seem to run pretty well and they have good prices and work is guaranteed.
Excellent Service Department! Nice Service Dept, young guys interested in working on cars. Had rims and tires installed on Mustang, good advice on what to buy, good price. I did not feel I was being ripped off lied to. This will continue to be my service location!
do not every use them or you will be sorry my mom took her suv to the pep boys on decatur and get got stolen and they did not have the keys to give back to her so we feel that it was a inside job and they would not pay to get it fix we had to put it under our ins to get the car fixed so what more can i say never ever leave your car over night you may not have it in the moring
Ron and Nick BIG Thanks I just had to write and tell you how Ron and Nick helped me while in Vegas. My car had cooler problems, and after Nick checked it out and it couldn't be fixed until the next day. I live in Phoenix and after Nick worked on my car the next morning, I received the call telling me that it could be picked up. I was thrilled and I was on the road the next morning and made it home with no problems. Big thanks to you both for all your help. Alice
