We live close so the Park IS our back yard! In 1970 my husband and I walked the park when we dated! My grandchildren have grown up "shaking the s Trees" the small saplings. Something a small child can do to interact. As they grew walking further and further and making VNmore memories. Now 23 years later they go themselves. Awesome place to hike! Just beautiful!!! Dog friendly!
I come here all the time to run the trails, go for hikes, fish or fly kites with my kids, listen to free concerts on Friday nights during the summer, and sometimes just to hang a hammock and enjoy the breeze. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area.
