Ordered the turkey club for $17 and change got a cheap cold cut version , changes are not good! I've been eating there for over 40 years sad

Waitstaff less than mediocre Completely outdated. Food is horrific and SUPER expensive for a fatty meal.
A must have for us every time we make it back to Long Island. Probably first time we ate there was 1966 .... Great place!
We haven't been to the Good Steer in about 2 yrs. The Good Steer burger supreme platter was always my husband's favorite. He asked for it to be medium well and it came out medium rare so he sent it back. When he got the burger back he felt the meat tasted completely different as in the past and he really didn't enjoy it. The mushroom soup was too thick & the beans & Mac and cheese ordered by our friends were cold. A very disappointing experience!
I had the Friday lunch special......not good.....fish was not tasty. I left half of it. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal here but yesterday was the first time. The rings were good though.......
Terrible food. Overdone and not worth the price for a shell steak . Wont go back
