We went to the Good Steer for the first time in years and were very disappointed. The ribs we ordered for an appetizer were so tough we could hardly chew them. The seafood bisque was good. The onion rings were good and the service was very good but I ordered a brisket sandwich which was almost entirely fat! We did not bother to complain so we did not give them the chance to make it better because we just wanted to get out of there. We used to love to go here with our kids but we won’t be going back with our grandchildren!
Going to the Good Steer since 1971. Now live in CT and whenever possible we go to the good Steer. Even my sons go there anytime they are on LI My granddaughter’s love it too. So what can I say? Three generations of Good Steer lovers. ❤️❤️❤️
Love that at 45 this is a place I went to as a kid and I still feel the nostalgia when I walk in it still that old restaurant feel without being rundown or dirty.
The Good Steer has the best burgers in Suffolk County ! I always get mine smothered with mushrooms. My whole family loves to eat at the Good Steer !
Always great service and delicious food - at least in the 40 years I've been visiting!
