When I realized my contact lens was 'embedded" in my eye as several attempts to "blink it" out failed, I decided to head to the ER at Good Sam. Very welcoming greeting a staff member/greeter-I wish I could remember her name at the ER entrance desk-She remembered me from my husband's visits. The wait was 3 hours, and the hard lens contact had irritated my eye. Must admit, decided to take a walk outside, and fortunately, I was beckoned. They have a terrible new policy of moving people around to open up rooms in the ER. When the nurse couldn't get an IV in my wife after 6 times, they moved her to two other rooms and finally used an ultrasound to get it in. In almost four hours, they moved her over six times. The nurses hate it also. Just another example of the typical horrible service Kaiser patients have to endure.
Great staf. Everyone was nice and in good moods. They acted quick with my feaver and got it Down and helped with my infection . Can't say enough about such a great team.
