I participated in a Gooch auction and it was clear, after having 2 "max bids" that were purposely on odd numbers... run up to exactly the Max bid. Now it is well known auctioneers can see the max bid on Hibid, it that Does NOT give them the right to run up the bids. I find they lack integrity and will proceed to never use a max bid with them, let alone use them for any auction services. You have been warned.
First time at Gooch Auction and had a very good experience! Good quality and variety of items. Pickup was easy. Thank you and I’ll be back!
