Nastiest place I've ever gone to! Walk in don't even get any greets just cold looks from the staff , the floor is disgusting the tables are dirty the room smells of cigarettes, the food has no flavor, the boss is a very dirty man flirting with his waitresses, my dr.pepper was watered down, my fries were stale nothing about this place is good! Amazing food and amazing people who work there. My family goes regularly there. The chicken fried steak breakfast is the best. I dont like it anywhere else.
I love the Goldmine! The food is excellent. The price is right. The service is just the BEST. We live in Mesquite and there are NO god breakfast places here unless you want Mexican food. Mexican food for breakfast is wonderful, but not every day. We have to drive in to Garland to the Goldmine or to Balch Springs to go to Lindys to get a good breakfast. It is worth it though.
