after reading some of the reviews im amazed at some of the things people say. you dont go to a place like goldmine for 5 star service or even expect to walk into a modern clean enviroment. goldmine is an old fashion family dinner with great prices and generous portions. i have been twice now and will contiunue to take my family there.

RecommendedThe fried pickles are the best I've ever had, and the Chicken Fried Steak is fantastic. The only thing I'd change is the blonde waitress. She acts like she's got somewhere else to be, and actually told us they were closed at 8:15p when the open sign was on, and the posted closing time is 9p. We'll go back, just not to her section.

Deep fried mushrooms are to die for. Pork chops are excellent. I can't think of nothing I do not like about this place
