I’ve been getting my hair cut by Audrey since around 2019. It always comes out perfect, and honestly, one of my favorite things about her haircuts is how nicely they grow out. I visited Gold Finch Salon recently for what I hoped would be a simple, clean haircut, but I left extremely dissatisfied with the results. I clearly requested a clean cut, but what I received was far from it. The layers are choppy and uneven, making it look like two separate sections of hair have been awkwardly pieced together rather than blending naturally. I feel so lucky to have found my new colorist at Goldfinch Salon! Theresa is so thoughtful and listened well to what I wanted. She nailed it and her application was thorough and perfect, plus she made the visit so enjoyable with her genuine and natural manner. The salon itself is a jewel. It's light filled, warm and such a nice place to sit for two hours and watch the walking traffic on College Ave. Every client who walked in the door was greeted warmly and they reciprocated in turn, always a good sign that a place has a goo... read more

Audrey is sooooo good at what she does! I love that she specializes in razor cuts. I have been looking for someone to help bring out my natural waves and put in layers to add volume to straight and fine hair (I'm east asian!) She's also lovely, friendly, and a good listener. I have walked out of the salon happy and satisfied with my hair cut every single time. Totally worth it. Attached photo is a few days after my cut by Audrey :-)

Got an absolutely awful haircut. Everyone agrees. The bangs look like they were cut by a five-year-old: way too short, jagged bowl cut. I spent last night in tears, and can’t even brush my teeth without hiding the mirror. It’s just terrible - literally the worst haircut I’ve had in my life.
