I have been his patient since 2009, I could not ask for a better Doctor. He makes sure you understand the best course of action to take , I felt confident and reassured that I was in the best hands going forward.
Dr. Furie was very welcoming and listening intently to my concern. He requested more detail (MRI) to make a practical decision on whether or not i really needed rotator surgery. Really appreciate his thoroughness weighing all options prior to electing to put me through surgery.

Dr. Furie has been my Orthopedist for almost 18 years. He has performed surgery on my foot. I have received injections on my hips due to Greater Trochanteric Bursitis, and in my shoulder because of torn bicep muscle. I appreciate his professional, but kind manner. His staff is well trained, kind and always pleasant.
Incompetent doctor and staff. Misdiagnosed a shoulder injury (as a SLAP tear) which was in fact a full-thickness tear of my infraspinatus and supraspinatus. Only diagnosed two months later by Dr. Spero Karas at Emory Sports & Orthopedic, where I would strongly suggest you go with any shoulder or knee injury. Not only was I misdiagnosed, I was subsequently billed as a self payor (three months after my appointments), rather than commercial (I have UnitedHealthcare). A disgrace to healthcare.
