The office staff is horrible especially Grisel and Dr Acon. This office is a scam they will claim they verified your insurance and state they accept the insurance but then bill you self pay which ended up being $300. Then state that the insurance is not accepted and say you have to pay or they will send it to collections. Grisel is unprofessional and never lets you speak not to mention rude.
I have been a patient with Acon for 2 years and she even delivered my baby in August 2024. Last week I tried calling and calling the office to update my insurance and got put on hold, hung up on, or no answer. Fast forward to today I called to update my insurance and there is a problem with the system they can’t help me and even if I try to fix it on my own they wouldn’t be able to see me since it’s so short notice. Love dr Acon but hate the office staff. Leaving the practice.
I have been a patient of Dr. Acon for over a decade now. For the last couple of years, I noticed a decline in her practice: MORE THAN USUAL long waits, unfriendly staff and unfortunately felt the Dr would always rush on me. What happened the last time was the last straw: I went to the office just to get my annual tests results. Grisel Cruz Lopez IS THE WORST OFFICE MANAGER EVER! EXTREMLY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! I'm concerned about the office management and work environment. There have been instances where I felt disrespected and unvalued. I think it would be beneficial for the office to work on improving communication, addressing conflicts, and fostering a more positive and respectful atmosphere.
Dr. Acon and staff are very sweet, nice, and caring. Honestly, I’m glad I didn’t pay attention to all the unlike reviews only because my experience with both Dr. Acon and the staff was wonderful. The staff truly understands a reinsurance that they are contracted with. They helped me understand my insurance and what my responsibilities were what they cover and don’t cover.
