I have been with Global meals for sometime now and mostly the service and food are pretty good. But I think Global along with many other services in Columbus Oh need to realize and relay to their drivers that they are mainly dealing with senior citizens, disabled, on medications and may nap off or miss a phone call. In other words don't skip over someone because they missed a single phone call, go to the address and knock loudly. Some people rely on these.
Global meals are tasteful and so convenient to prepare! Great for seniors who just do NOT want to cook and clean the kitchen.
I've not been happy with it. I don't know if itt cost saving measures or someone trying to fancy the dinners up. For example they switched their frozen soups in pouches to odd stuff in deli containers. There was a frozen Japanese green salad. Looked like green pre chewed slop. They seem to be making changes to fake, soy meat alternatives. I'm wondering if anyone there has actually tried to eat a meal that's been delivered to a client. Not one they fix up to show off. I think it is the best meal delivery! I have tried 3 others, which were acceptable but Global is amazing! I enjoy getting meals that are different every other week that are so different from the previous delivery. It is like a mini food Christmas! I never know what I’m getting until I open the boxes. Also, my delivery guy is always cheerful, friendly, and helpful! The dill pickles are the best I have ever eaten anywhere! The delivery gentlemen are courteous. And most all the meals are delicious. Even in bad weather the drivers still manage to deliver. I am very greatful
Delivery drivers have always been very courteous and friendly. Meals arrive in good condition not damaged or thawed.
Global meals is a great company. The people who deliver answer the phone etc are very kind and respectful. Awesome people and food thank you
