My Dr. Salkola (Mimi) is a dear friend and she does an outstanding, professional topnotch job...she strives for almost perfection as i stated earlier nothing can be perfect. If she isn't satisfied with her work, she will do it again at not extra charge, until it is to her satisfaction. I trust all my kids with this OUTSTANDING, SUPERB AND EXTREMELY FRIENDLY STAFF....i feel like family there and am treated as such.

The whole office has been friendly and professional every time I've been there, both for myself and my teenage son. I am surprised by all the negative reviews since I haven't found any cause for complaints at all.

Because of my work, I tend to move often, which gives me a great perspective to dentists and dentistry in general. Dr. Sakola is by far the best dentist I have had. She is very careful, gentle, and conscientious. Her work is organized and well thought-out. I feel that I get first rate dental care with good price. And I know because of my experiences with many dental offices. I cannot be happier.

The dental assistants/hygienists I've come across at Gentle Dental have all been great, and Mimee (who is in fact a separate entity from the aforementioned dentist Mimi) is always a pleasure to talk to. Additionally, the front office has been nothing but helpful and polite, even going so far as to come up with a special payment option that would reduce the burden on me, since they know I'm currently working my way through grad school. I highly recommend Gentle Dental, and especially Dr. Salkola

I don't particularly enjoy sitting in a chair and having my teeth poked at by pointy metal instruments, but since it has to be done, I'm glad that Dr. Mimi Salkola is my dentist. She is one of the friendliest people I know, and I can tell that she genuinely cares about her patients. I've been with Gentle Dental for about five years. I have an extended circle of friends in the Peninsula and South Bay. I've sent dozens of them to Dr. Mimi Salkola and Gentle Dental, and every single one has given me a glowing report of their experience. Dr. Salkola is exceptional - she is highly competent, caring, and personal. She offers options and is sensitive to all issues including finances and patient comfort. In my 70 years I have not had a better dentist - not one comes close.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Gentle Dental over the years. I have a sensitive mouth and the doctor has been very caring in making sure I don't suffer even during major dental "projects." She is also impeccable and very precise - she does outstanding work. A recent crown replacement looks wonderful and is very comfortable for eating. I have many friends who are patients, and all of them rave about her.
