Love Glenwood Vet Clinic for so many reasons! Great service, thoughtful care, and they take the time to listen to your concerns and make a plan with you that works best for your critter and you. Definitely recommend!!
We bred our red heeler and wanted to get an ultrasound. They were the only clinic around that didn’t cost a fortune and that had there own machine and didn’t have to have a doctor from the front range come preform the procedure... I was able to watch the ultrasound and she was indeed pregnant. Our red heeler ended up having a tough delivery that ended in an emergency surgery. The staff were great and very informative! It was Sunday afternoon when I noticed my horse was restless, lying down and getting up, irritable, depressed and he had diarrhea. The emergency "on call" vet for the Valley was Dr. Sam Johnson. He was in the middle of another colic emergency but assured me that he would get to our ranch as soon as he could. When Dr. Johnson arrived he was friendly,calm, efficient and patient. They are amazing! I found a dog today on the highway that had been hit by a car. They took him in when I brought him and thankfully he will be okay! Amazing kindness and compassion was shown!! Thank you!
Dr Sam Johnson treated my mule Shorty. I was very impressed with Dr Johnson's knowledge, compassion and thoroughness. He took the time to explain treatment options and even followed up to see how Shorty's recovery was coming along.
The staff here is amazing! We had a very sick goat due to stones in the urethra, which can be fatal very quickly. I called to see what our options were, as this has happened before with other goats, and the surgery was astronomically expensive. Dr. Johnson was able to talk me through a few things, and we ended up taking him into the clinic where they did a complicated surgery and kept him overnight for about 1/4 of what we had been charged with other surgeons, and now we have a very happy, very healthy goat back at home.
