I’ve been here since December. In January they came into my apartment one day when my dog was home and fix the hole that was in the door when we moved in. While they were there, my dog had ripped up the carpet and scratched away the bottom of the door because he was scared somebody was in there. Well I think we are being charged to heat the laundry rooms and their office. They we're watering the lawn after a week of heavy rain. Probably so they can get more money.

I lived here for years never missing a payment or having a late payment. Like all apartments you are supposed to give 60 days notice to vacate and I didn’t plan it right which is my fault-I get that, but I asked for some help from them because of my payment history if I could just be charged one month rent instead of paying the full two months since I am already moved out. Misty completely lied to me. i am a person with disabilities and i was informed that after i paid my application fee, i was approved and could move in the 10 of august. the apartment i applied for was $960/mo. Misty then informed me at the end of the call the apartment was $1300. thats one big jump! she then said i could bring the money in whenever to secure it, i informed her that i was going out of town camping until the 6, and could be by the 7/8 and bring the money/deposit in. So just went to check out these apartments and they falsely advertise their apartments start at $899. The "lovely lady" behind the desk said their one bedroom's start at $1200 and that the prices they have listed were from their November specials. Which exceeded even the top price they have listed.Needless to say we walked out. I will be contacting the BBB later this afternoon, if you advertise something at a certain price you should be honoring it or changing your pricing to reflect the correct pricing. It hasn't always been easy living here but the improvements that the current team are making have made this the place to live in Lakewood. The grounds are kept well...the office staff is responsive, very friendly and engaging. Maintenance tends to get it right the first time and does repairs in appropriate times. Even with all the new construction of apartments in the area....can't imagine leaving this community.

1. Staff: when we came in to sign our lease it was during what appeared to be an entire staff lunch break, we got glares and eye rolls when we asked for assistance like we were being burdens and someone huffed and said they would 'do it' meaning help us.... Getting ahold of the office is a joke. We had questions regarding our rent and called a few days before our 1st months rent was due and said we weren't comfortable paying until we understood the charges since it wasn't what we signed for. Management is the worst. Never get any repairs done had to fix dishwasher myself on my own dime after a month of waiting. Got toilet fixed after six months of waiting. Cost is very unreasonable I do not recommend anyone to move here. I'm out as soon as my lease is up.
Let me start with a bit of a disclaimer: I'm not a serial reviewer. I usually take super negative reviews with a grain of salt and like to give companies the benefit of the doubt. I did that with these apartments, and it has turned into a nightmare. I hope that by writing an honest review, others will not make the same mistake my husband and I did.
