Ask for a local job in California then get job listings in Michigan or Alabama. The filters aren’t specific enough for California. They don’t account for the fact that a 35 mile drive can take almost 2 hours. Company is out of touch for California freeways and traffic
Glassdoor is a conniving, vindictive, manipulative company. They're business practices are disgusting and based on absolutely only profits. They reached out to us plenty of times about signing up to a paid employer account with more "features" since they just went public. When we finally told them we weren't interested they then retaliated and removed half of our positive reviews. I am convinced that this would not be the case if we had paid what they wanted. They are a SCAM of a company who tries to ruin small companies and... read more
Glassdoor has zero integrity and is a fraud of a company. Their business practices are disgusting and revolve around bullying small businesses into signing up with their services. They say their platform is based on transparency which is a lie.
Glassdoor is the biggest lie and is a company composed of zero integrity, standards, and 100% complete biases. Read Glassdoor's policies and it reveals EVERYTHING that is wrong with Glassdoor. Nothing about Glassdoor is legit and it is one big Loophole that can work in both favors with the right attention and manipulation. Glassdoor mentions transparency like it's going out of fashion, there is nothing transparent about Glassdoor. It's completely shady. To think that you can land in a job trusting Glassdoor's fabricated revi... read more
Glassdoor is a scam. After our company declined Glassdoor's services, Glassdoor REMOVED all of our company's positive reviews leaving only the bad ones. We're a small family company so all the employees, left only positive reviews. No one was compensated or violated glassdoor guidelines to warrant the removal of the positive glassdoor reviews. The negative reviews that were left are fake since we didn't have operations in the area were that we were suppose to be servicing.
Based per my experience the ***************** reflects only negative reviews by employees who left the Company on bad terms or were underperforming, lied or cheated or simply there was no good fit. They are not interested in servicing customers or verifying any information posted by those who exiting the Company.
Business response:
Thank you for sharing this perspective, but we wanted to share data from Glassdoor that actually shows the opposite. Currently on Glassdoor, we host about 42 million reviews and insights for about 800,000 employers around the world. We ask employees to rate how satisfied they are in their job and company overall and the average company rating is currently a 3.4, based on a 5-point scale. This means that 73% of employees who leave reviews on Glassdoor actually report being 'ok' or 'satisfied' in their jobs. In addition, we ta... read more
Glassdoor is not interested in facts: We recently flagged a comment from an individual on Glassdoor that was factual incorrect. Given that this was not an opinion but could easily be verified, we presumes that Glassdoor would take action and remove the posting as requested - wrong !! We even escalated our request and got a response from the Manager of Content and Community. The disappointing e-mail stated: "So it is not our role to investigate and fact check each statement in a review. If you offer to send us your own evid... read more
Business response:
Hi there - and thank you for bringing this to our attention. As a platform built on transparency, Glassdoor is committed to freedom of speech online, which includes allowing employees to openly voice their opinions about their workplaces. When employees are completing a review on Glassdoor, we ask them to provide feedback on areas that are working well, and those that need improvement at a company. We don’t take sides and we don’t act as the finder of fact with respect to review content. To maintain data quality and ensure e... read more
Following is a copy of the email I sent to this (alleged) "Job Finding Service": I've had to abandon my last 3 attempts to submit employment applications (after excessive time spent filling them out for ****, *** ****, and ****** ****** store) because the applications refused to accept VALID phone #s and Military Service dates. Honestly, I'm about to give up on Glassdoor.
I have been using **********for my hiring but I needed to restaff two of my employees rather quickly. So I thought "okay...let's just expand the net wider" and decided to give Glassdoor a shot. In the trial period, I got ZERO applicants. Which I found odd as compared with indeed...I would get 2-3 applicants on the same day. Okay...so shortly before the trial was over I thought, "okay...failed experiment, time to cancel." So I cancelled. However, just yesterday I got an applicant submitted to me but I couldn't place how that ... read more
