Bad – Associations beware!!!! If you hire this company, they are rude and don't do anything for residents.
Huset Park - Columbia Heights – They should not have any recognition. A company who's employee is a member our of Board - falsely made claim to contacting Police over the past for our Townhome issues - we elected her to the board, an recently learned that local Police Community officer didn't know who she was. Doesn't even deserve ONE star! This is the worst association management company I have ever dealt with. The dues are ridiculously high, and the service is terrible. They charge you fees for EVERYTHING. I live on a corner lot, and I got a notice that if I don't pick up after my dog, I would be charged $100.00 for them to do it. I don't even have a dog!!! Strong Association Management – I am a current board member and resident of Greenway Gables, a 43 unit town home complex in Minneapolis managed by Gittleman. We transitioned to Gittleman from another management company a little over a year ago. Another Unhappy Customer – I'm on the board of our condo association as well as a homeowner in the building, and I want to say thank you to the people who wrote honest reviews on here. It's good to know I'm not going crazy or alone in my frustration. Question their practices! – Very disappointing how they feel the residents don't matter. They play by their own rules, don't listen to resident concerns, and worst of all they sway annual elections. The employees are way over worked and under appreciated. I don't think they even deserve the 1 star.
So far... not so good – Gittleman took over the management of our association in downtown St. Paul (The Lowry) earlier this year. I have had to contact them only a couple of times, but each time it took a long time for them to get back. The phone number they gives goes right into a voice mail. No one EVER picks up. The voice message says to contact them by e-mail but they don't return those either. It appears they get good reviews from board members, but pretty poor reviews from the people who actually live and own the units... read more
Review of Gittleman – I am a member of the Board of a condominium which Gittleman has managed since March 2011. I have been nothing but please with the way they have managed our building, especially considering the very poor service we have received from the past two management companies. Our particular manager and her assistant are extremely repsonsive, knowledgeable, logical, and reasonable. Their superior service is the reason I continue as a member of the board.
Solid Company Managing 197 Unit Property in Rosemount – I have been active with my homeowner's association board since 2005 and we have worked with Gittleman since the property's inception of that year. Gittleman has effectively managed our 197 unit property since day 1. They have helped us collect dues, enforce rules & regulations, compile our budget, and plan for big expenditures through reserve studies.
