The quarry is beautiful, but everyone I ran into that worked there wasn't very pleasant. They were all quite rude, and didn't seem to want to help much, especially the first time divers. Most of the wagons to haul your gear had flat tires. The pricing listed on the site hasn't been updated. So expect to pay more than what you originally planned. The diving experience is amazing, but dealing with the people made it feel as though it's not worth it.

My Wife and I dove there on June 3rd and decided not to dive on the 4th as she had some difficulties. When we returned to the facility to retrieve our re-filled tanks we had trouble finding them as our friends had brought them to the dock area. The man in charge of the office / parking area offered no assistance, and was very aggressive and angry at us for driving our vehicle into the wrong area. As a dive instructor and a fan of the Quarry, I'm sorry to hear you had an issue with management over parking policies. I'm sure if you knew the parking policies in advance you would of follow them. Theirs no excuse nor will I support disrespectful treatment of anyone at anytime. We can only hope in the future you'll reconsider using one of the greatest gems of the state of Ohio, Gilboa Quarry.
