It is a great training area for scuba. Several platforms and obstacles including a plane, helicopter, school bus, and so forth.

Even 5hrs drive from Chicago worth to go. Clear water, lot of underwater attractions and comfortable depth will make your dive enjoyable. Big plus you can camp there so weekend gateway is perfect option. I highly recommend. One of my best dives in fresh water

That's right, the can of Diet Coke says it all!! "Girls just want to have fun" at Gilboa Quarry!!! I absolutely love this place!! There is so much to do and see, especially as a new diver. Gilboa Quarry will always have a special place with me because this is where I got my Open Water Certification. Who wouldn't want to see planes, cars, motorcycle, christmas trees, cars, school bus and so many more to list. It's awesome to be able to breathe underwater and see such fun and exciting things. Not to mention, Gilboa is the clea... read more

One of my favorite places to dive. Live in Grand Rapids Michigan which makes it a 3 hour drive but worth the trip.

I recently was certified and did my open water at Gilboa. I have to say I was so impressed with the set up and how comfortable I was with how welcomed I felt. The grounds were beautiful and I couldn't believe all there was to see underwater. I can't wait to go back.
