So I am recently certified so I have little experience. But I can say. What a nice place to dive. My buddy rented equipment. It seemed like great equiptment! The place is friendly and well layed out. Plenty of Carts to move your stuff. Air fills on premmisis. So many things to see. The fish are crazy cool. Water was clear. I can't wait to bring my daughter here. She will love it too!
Great place to dive & for training. The fish are huge, lots things to see that have been placed on the bottom, stairs to help u get in or out of the water. Mike has a great passion for the quarry & everything in it. Air fill station, dive shop, & accomodations are great features for divers to help enjoy there visit to gilboa quarry.
Gilboa is a nice place to dive, the fish oh, the fish! Trout trout everywhere. Go to the school bus and tap on the roof you will think your in a piranha swarm. Water vis is normally 30+, deep dive possible to 132ft. Overnight accomidations on property or primitive camp sites. On site air fills. Daily fee is just a bit on the heavy side, they even charge to have your dog there
Quarry was great and amazing. Owner sucked. Bring extra cash bc site list wrong prices and rather than fix it he just gets angry at people who don't carry excess cash in the modern world and its a cash only buisness 5* if the guy wasnt so "grumpy" (not exactly the word I'd use but its a public post). Also the guy takes forever to fill tanks. We wanted to dive at 1:15ish, finished dive at 12, had to run 10 min out and back to get cash for fills, dropped tanks off at 1230, ours and about 8 others sat there for about 1.5 hrs wh... read more
