I've just read all the above reviews for Dr. Gil. I can now say that I've had the pleasure of experiencing all of Dr. Gil's qualities listed on them, GOOD and BAD!?? The best part is that he prescribed Rytary which thankfully stopped my shaking. For that I thank you (grazie) Dr. Gil! On my last visit though, we had a little fall out! At the door the sign said to wear a mask, so I put one on. To my surprise, nobody was wearing one. He asked, "Why are you wearing a mask? Did you get your vaccine?" Of course, STUPID me, I didn'... read more

Does not work well with "Snowbirds". Very defensive towards primary care doctors advice. Poor "bedside" manner. I was told all these characteristics in advance, but went anyway --- mistake. Must be difficult to work for as the staff I encountered changed often during my time using him.

This doctor should not be trusted. . He is loud and does not allow you to speak. He says he is good at what he does well he does not ! Stay away and save your money, there are allot better doctors. Be wise check your doctors out, before you go to them !

After reading the reviews, I was tempted to cancel my appointment, but Dr. Gil had been referred by another doctor that I trusted. I'm glad I went. Dr. Gil literally saved my life. The first appointment with him was three hours long. He took me off a medication that another movement disorder specialist have put me on. He stated that the medication would make my symptoms worse. He was right. He gave me his personal cellphone number. He called numerous times to check on me , and always called back when I called him. He is a ca... read more

Talk about somebody full of himself being rude disrespectful a doctor that doesn't listen to his patient. I said you're not listening to me he got angry and shut down teleconference told me to find find another doctor. That was after the first time he called me back when he just plain hung up on me I thought he was calling back to tell me that he didn't mean to hang up on me when in fact he was just calling back to be more miserable. I should have known when he recommended the very first office visit I had he recommended to ... read more

Dr Gil actually saved my husbands life, after visiting 3 other neurologists he was able to solve the problem . He tells it like it is. Be prepared to listen to what he has to say and don't concentrate on his mannerisms( which I thought were very professional).

Let me start by saying, I left his office with my husband and my head was pounding from the most rudest man, I have ever encountered. Instead of allowing the caregiver to tell what was happening with my husband, after he asked, “What brings you here?”,all he wanted to do was key in on dates. He cut me off when I was about to tell him my husband’s walk pattern. Now, I'm the sole caregiver to my husband who has dementia, and putting up with a very rude doctor, is not what I expected. He must think that HIS WAY OR NO WAY, becau... read more

We were given Dr Gil’s name by referral service. He was arrogant, belligerent and, at one point, without having done any examination of the patient, said one of her meds was wrong and through it down the sink. He later replaced the pills but told us to leave and never come back. That’s fine with us because he has the temperament of a snake.

I had my first visit with Dr. Gil. It was quite an experience. I had a comprehensive interview, a thorough physical exam. He spoke extensively about the probable cause for my symptoms. Explained thoroughly the findings on my MRI and justification for changing medications and addtional blood work and testing. Thru out all of this in thus first visit, with a firm hand in advising, he managed to communicate that he cared for me as a person. I feel truly lucky to have found him.
