This person is not only the most difficult person to communicate with he's a bully and intolerant person. If you admitted make a mistake this guy continually reminds you of the mistake. When you ask for help if he's not interested he'll deflect to others and take no responsibility.

My husband has been seeing Dr Gil for about a year now. I've read the reviews and disagree with the bad ones. I find him brilliant in the field of Parkinson's. My husband's symptoms greatly improved almost immediately. Dr Gil has also recommended a pain management doctor and a neurosurgeon which have both been positive therapies in addition to the medicine Rytary.

Southwest Florida is lucky to have such a knowledgeable Parkinson’s specialist! My father’s first appointment was extensive and thorough. Dr. Gil explained the progression of the disease, discussed other parts of the body affected, and prescribed a longer-lasting medication to treat my dad’s symptoms. Scans and therapy will follow. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Gil! 5 out of 5, without hesitation!

Our first visit with Dr. Gil was the most thorough Parkinson's exam my husband has ever had. We were there two and a half hours. Dr. Gil was patient, personable, and explained the disease and treatment in layman's terms. After nine years of stagnant treatment, we see new and innovative ways to treat this disease. His staff is remarkable too.

He seems like he would be better suited to do research instead of see patients. He is very smart, but has a very poor bedside manner. He does know the latest research and medications. He speaks at you, barely lets you get a word in or ask a question. A doctor should have a dialog with the patient to find out how they are doing and be able to ask questions about complex medications. One time my father had a medical crisis regarding his Parkinsons medications, I tried for weeks to get a hold of the doctor. Eventually he called... read more

Dr Gil was very rude and unprofessional in our opinion. My wife told his staff when making the appointment days ago she was not vaccinated. Upon entering the room he immediately asked if she had the vaccine, which she said no. Dr Gil then proceeded to berate her decision. This was his only question before stating the test. He was very rough physically in handling a lady whose complaint was pain in her hands, and completed a nerve test we were told would probably take 1-2 hours in 30 minutes or less. Before the exam was over ... read more

I've just read all the above reviews for Dr. Gil. I can now say that I've had the pleasure of experiencing all of Dr. Gil's qualities listed on them, GOOD and BAD!?? The best part is that he prescribed Rytary which thankfully stopped my shaking. For that I thank you (grazie) Dr. Gil! On my last visit though, we had a little fall out! At the door the sign said to wear a mask, so I put one on. To my surprise, nobody was wearing one. He asked, "Why are you wearing a mask? Did you get your vaccine?" Of course, STUPID me, I didn'... read more
