My wife and I planned a home birth, but due to being in labor for 48 hours, and contractions spreading apart, we came to the Birthing Center around midnight yesterday morning. We wanted a home birth due to thinking it's more relaxing, easier on my wife, among other things. The room had a home feeling, no bright lights, constant beeping, etc. The staff have been so helpful and accommodating as well. I go to Gifford a lot and I like it. I usually don't have to wait. The nurses are very nice, they know me by name. They go out of their way to ask how I'm doing. I like most of the doctors, too. My doc is very good. What a wicked memory she has!! It's helpful to have your doctor remember what meds or problems you've had in the past. I like all the staff there. I'm trying to think of a negative to put in here and I can't think of anything!! That's good, right?? �
