My wife and I planned a home birth, but due to being in labor for 48 hours, and contractions spreading apart, we came to the Birthing Center around midnight yesterday morning. We wanted a home birth due to thinking it's more relaxing, easier on my wife, among other things. The room had a home feeling, no bright lights, constant beeping, etc. The staff have been so helpful and accommodating as well.
