We were in on a Friday evening. Very good service, average sides, great meats. I decided on the three meat plate with pulled shoulder, ribs, and hot link, with beans and onion rings as sides. As I said, the sides were very average but the meat was fantastic. The hot link was good, the pork shoulder had a ton of flavor while still being very moist, and the ribs were as good as any I've eaten. Just as good as I remembered! Took my daughter to Memphis for the first time and told her we had to have Commissary! I tried the Big Boss Salad this time and it was really good! She went with the half slab plate and fell in love just like I did! Oh and the banana pudding is out of this world!
The food was so good! The pork shoulder was moist and very flavorful. Our server was one of the best I have ever encountered. If you have room, the homemade desserts were delicious!

Been there for dinner 3 times on our way to Lexington,Kay. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. I will go every time I'm in Memphis great pork, ribs, chicken sausage, great cole slaw, potatoes salad, deviled eggs and greatly recommend the best coconut pie I ever had
The service is just as awesome as the food. Plus portions are generous.
Great decor, friendly staff, super fast service, great prices AND the food was outstanding. BBQ pulled pork nachos, cheese onion rings and cheese fries, BBQ plate (pulled pork), banana pudding and coconut pie. Yep, we were stuffed when we left.
