RecommendedHaving just moved to Germantown a few months ago, we had no idea where to go and so decided to try Germantown Animal Hospital. The doctors and staff are so caring and kind. There is never a dumb question and their love for animals is very evident. We have a 14-year-old cat, a 10-year-old dog, and a six-month-old puppy, and each animal is well cared for and loved on. I would highly recommend Germantown Animal Hospital!
Dr Alex and Dr Garrett have both been very caring and professional. They always find time to see our dogs and answer all our questions completely and thoroughly. We loved the previous vet and were worried that the new ones would not live up to him, but they do! Thanks for all that you do. We also love the vet techs.
Called on a follow up to a dressing removal and explain that we wanted it noted this was not our fault there no yelling from on our end just an explanation. However the receptionist Theresa immediately raised her voice and would not let me finish my explanation. I have never been talked to in such a rude manner. We will be looking for a new vet. Unfortunately when the face of your business is rude from the start customers will find somewhere else to go.
Very caring staff. Dr. Alex is knowledgeable and very caring. He explains concerns very well, & is very gentle with our kitty.
We have gone there 10 years and when we came in to euthanize they were completely rude and wanted to charge us a emergency fee of $90 plus the other fees even though we had an appointment that THEY mistakenly cancelled. Very rude and no compassion for this kind of situation. They also made us wait for 45 minutes to get this information figured out. We finally said never mind and left with our suffering dog and will find somewhere with compassion.

I live a block away, and I have been a client preownership change. Evidently with new ownership if you call on the 3rd (and leave a message they don’t call you back, but when you call back on the 4th) their next available is the 13th for a 15yo cat with a bleeding mass and I was told to go to a Mayfair walk in. Obviously I would rather have gone to my vet one block away. Sad.
