My knee would swell up with any hard activity. Bader said that arthroscopic surgery would not help cure my problem -arthritis under the knee cap - only a full knee replacement would suffice. Gave me cortisone shot, made next appt for 3 months away. I only found out a month later that he doesn't do full knee replacements, only partials. Wasted a month and a half of my time
When I was catastrophically injured by a piece of heavy equipment on a farm visit in remote Northern California a few years ago, I made the best decision ever ans insisted on being taken to John Muir, where I requested their 'best orthopaedic trauma surgeon'. Prompt caring knowledgeable
I usually never write reviews, but the care Dr Bader provided was above and beyond. I had a tricky workers comp case, and the original MRI was completely read wrong by a radiologist. It stated I had a full thickness full width tear in multiple parts of my rotator cuff. Dr. Bader caught the mistake, and ordered another MRI because he believed the Labrum was the issue, not the rotator cuff. Very nice that’s so important.Great information regarding my knee and shoulder he is addressing both joints.
Doctor was complete in his explanations, including what to expect when I woke up after knee replacement. I was experiencing a lot of pain and left his office feeling very optimistic. The surgery was all but a snap and I was finished with rehab at a nursing home in 2 weeks. I drove my car that day, with Dr. Toma's permission. He was wonderful!
Dr. Tischenko is GREAT!He cares about you and your concerns, his diagnosis and explanations are clear and his treatment plan is precise. He has helped me for many years with back, knee and shoulder injuries. I used to dread getting Hyaluronic knee injections every 6 months but since switching to him for the injections they are virtually pain free.
