Knee surgery went well. The day after surgery was fine until day later, had then had much discomfort. But, each day you get to start feeling some improvement and with therapy it does get better.
I visited Dr. Kolettis regarding pain in my knee. After an MRI, it was determined that I had a torn meniscus. Recently had the surgery and doing much better. The entire staff is kind and considerate, and the wait times have been excellent. Would definitely recommend FW Ortho.
Had a hip revision on Feb. 4, 2021 and here it is Feb. of 2022 and I'm still having problems with hip pain and walking. After seeing him several times for the pain, he gave me a cortisone shot in the bursa even though the MRI report said the fluid was in the joint. Totally ignored the report and I had to go somewhere else to get the correct shot. It helped but still need another one soon. I would highly endorse Dr Sassmannshausen for any type of sports surgery. This is my second surgery with Dr Sass. I had rotator cuff surgery in 2018, he did a great job. I have full extension of my left shoulder, I feel great when playing golf or Pickleball. I just recently in Jan 2022 had a knee arthroplasty. The most important advice I received as a patient of Dr Sass was exercise before the surgery. It will make the post-surgery recovery go smoothly. Just, went back for my Other, Knee. Dr. Sass And Dr. DeTurk do an Excellent procedure. Highly recommended. The, Hockey Team uses Them, and they, Push their Knees and Shoulders To, the Limit.
Excellent care and prompt follow up to questions & concern. Dr. Kolettis physicians assistant is also excellent!
Awesome care. Very informative, talks at a level you understand. Very personable, professional, and knows what he's talking about. Will not hesitate to go to Dr. Sass and FWO again.
Dr. Sassmannshausen is fantastic. I was even told by a nurse at the hospital that in addition to being the best surgeon, he is one of a few doctors that know medicine and thus can give much better pain relief. He is an excellent people person and really explains everything wonderfully.
He is extremely good at taking needed time to explain situations and procedures to patients.
