Bring a book to read because it's a long wait; but it's worth it because Dr. Van is good. I was referred to him for a possible hip problem, but after an x-ray and a thorough exam, he said there is nothing wrong with either hip and referred me to a neurosurgeon for my back.
Went to speak to him today and he took so much time with me. Examined the knee, went over the MRI I brought in. Then showed me what he talking about on the MRI. Answered my many, many questions. Then he answered my girlfriend’s questions. He seemed genuinely interested in me as a patient! Some doctors can’t be bothered. He was great.
Always feel rushed when I see him. Doesn’t seem very attentive to much, just seems like always tryna hurry and get me out. I overheard him in another room with a patient saying “I try to take a more personal approach to my patients and give them my best care and attention” . But that’s BS. Atleast from my experiences. Didn’t explain how my X-rays looked even tho I knew I had some questions about it because I had visited the ER weeks prior to my visit with him which he never was one bit of curious about. Excellent surgeon
I have had total knee and hip replacement by Dr Hanna, he and his team care greatly for each patient. I highly recommend him.
Dr Hanna takes the time to listen to your concerns and allows you to take part in your health care decisions.
My knee felt better the day before surgery more than a year ago than it has any day since..
Took the time to explain the roots of my affliction. I learned new and helpful facts. Managed the condition in a very timely manner!
He got fired in Fort Wayne Orthopedics in indiana they let a guy died with a simple ACL repair
