This guy speaks to me like I am a med school student listening to a dissertation. He speaks with zero compassion or care about me or the suffering I experience all day. He doesn't understand the conditions he treats and refuses to prescribe medication that has a history of being effective for me with other providers. He never follows up on any of the things he claims he does and I always have to hunt him down for new appointments just to follow up with what we discussed in a previous appointment. I am 31. Since the age of 16 I have been in and out of psychiatric health institutions. Dr Mercado is the most reliable, caring and skilled doctor I have ever met. I’ve been seeing him every other month now for going on 3 years. He has given me and my family hope that my diagnosis is treatable. I recommend him 100%
