Took my pom here Saturday and the groomers seemed nice enough but overbooked. Showed them a pic of what I wanted my boy to look like and they cut him way shorter than I asked, which wasn’t a huge issue but a bit disappointing. My biggest issue- I’ve had my dog groomed many times by a different groomer and he’s never come home more traumatized and uncomfortable than he did from Gentle Pet Groomers. I’m not sure what they did to him but he seems to have terrible razor burn and skin irritation. I won’t be returning or recommend... read more
Business response:
The girls always do their best. Sometimes it’s hard on the dogs to go to a new place and have a new groomer. Try cortisone and antibiotic cream on the irritated areas. Sorry you are disappointed.
We started at Gentle Pet Grooming several years ago, with our tiny rough coat Brussels Griffon whose hair we kept cut short. Then we started taking our Boston Terriers to get their nails trimmed and their anal glands expressed too. Over the years, we've had three groomers and we love our current groomer, Brooke, SO MUCH! She's so personable and good with our dogs. Can't imagine taking our furkids anywhere else!
