WOO – if your trying to get the whole philly experience pats is the place to go!
Hey, At Pat's its all about the atmosphere. Your in southern Philly, mabe after a game or concert. Your there and sure, the people there are kinda rude and they might yell at you if you mess up, but your at Pats, King Of Steaks!
Best you'll ever have – I'm from Michigan but have friends in the Philly area. When I visit them, all I want to know is when we're going to Pat's. It's a crappy place and the service is bad, and yes it's very dirty. It's part of the show. Little tiny dive, but man I'm telling you it's the best junk food in the world. I only get them once every couple years but it's worth it. Don't bother with Gino's or anywhere else - they're nowhere near as good.
grissle is what stands out in thinking of pats steaks .avoid this place.it is not best but might enter on worst list.
Best cheesesteak and fries – The line moves quickly here, definitely try the cheese fries, or a cheesesteak with cheez whiz.
ech – Food served like a fire drill Juicy sloppy mess. It's not bad if you enjiy standing outside in the cold with Tomato sauce and Cheez wiz running down your arms.
Gees!! Cheese whiz?? – I have never liked Pat's steaks!! Too greasy and the service is crazy! Also for a cheesesteak, they use cheese whiz!! Not for me, no way!!
No Break Steak – You can go to any other part of the U.S. and purchase a piece of beef on a steak roll (as long as steak rolls are baked in that part of the country). Traditionally, the finely sliced beef is chopped, on the grill, while it's being cooked. I would sooner go on a diet than eat at Pat's Steaks today. Years ago, IT WAS THE BEST! Not today. Too lazy to chop and no pride in their product.
gristle and grease – if you like grissle and grease this is the place. the best part of pat's or geno's is that they are open at 3:00 am.
